German Spouse visa - how to track the status ?

Hi,

I applied for a spouse visa on Apr16th 2008. marriage verification done and sent to german embassy.. I am in india. Still i don't know the status...
how to track. where to contact ?
Are they will take this much time to proceed.. ?

My wife is working in infosys.. we applied from that company only.

Please help me.. on this.

Processing a dependant visa to Germany would definitely take this much time.

Since the veriffication of your Mc has been completed and sent to Germany, the final approval may come at any time.

you can track the status by calling the German consulate where you had applied for the visa by giving them the reference number or your passport number.
