I am due for ILR in March2020. I can submit the application in Feb2020 based on 28 day rule.
What is the date i need to get the letter from employer confirming absence, paid leaves and need for foreseeable future?
There is no specific date when you should request a letter from your employer but it would make sense to get it just before you apply (maybe a week before) so that it cover your holidays taken upto that point.
Can I take the letter now confirming it or does it need to be later? what is the rule around it.
Regards
The employer letter should NOT be dated older than 30 days from the date of application.Dilliwalah wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 9:53 amDear good people,

1. Absences for last 5 years based on current visa.Dilliwalah wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 3:46 pm
1. Do i need to mention absences from Mar 2015 to Mar 2020 for new employer only or from 1st date of entry Jun 2010. My current employer will only give letter from which i joined current company.
2. My wife joined me in Oct 2015 she is not eligible for ILR till Oct 2020. She will get PBS dependent status till then. Do i need to show co-habilitation documents for 2 years in PBS dependent application?
3. My salary will get credit on 24 Jan 2020. I will be eligible for ILR on 5th Feb 2020 (28 days ahead of T2G expiry). Can I apply on 5th Feb itself, can someone please guide me?
Thank you for your time.aman90 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 11:15 am1. Absences for last 5 years based on current visa.Dilliwalah wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 3:46 pm

2. When was her initial visa issued? Yes. Maintenance+cohab and IHS surcharge.
3. Yes.
Your ILR is based wholly on the time spent on tier 2 general and when you started working for the sponsor. that is the only absence period that is relevant, as the previous poster has already stated.Dilliwalah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 12:00 pmThanks I understand.
In terms of absences do i only need to show from when i switched to T2G in Mar2020. Not for the 5 year period i was on T2 ICT before. To be sure. Thank you.

https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa/ ... -this-visaCan T2G Dependent apply for Tier4 in UK as well.
She should ideally start studying on a tier 4 if she can get a sponsor. If my spouse starts study in Jan2020 on T2G dependent visa but we plan to switch to T4 with me(currently main T2G holder) going T4 Dependent
Is this possible too?
