HSMP Visa Extension

Hi,

My current HSMP visa is expiring in January 2009, how early can I apply for the extension.

My family has to travel back to Pakistan early December, can I request to get the visa issued earlier like in November 2008?

As per HSMP guidance notes (the following is taken from ver 04/06):

53. If you are a Highly Skilled Migrant you will, in the last month before the end of that period, be able to apply for permission to stay for an additional three years under HSMP.
