Hi all,
I was wondering if one the the more experienced members of the forum can help with a query I have.
I recently obtained British Citizenship and then applied for a passport.
With my passport application, I sent two current passports that I have from other countries:
- One is from a prestigious country and an important British ally (one of the 5 eyes)
- The other is from a much less important country (a "developing" country).
My passport came with a note, under official observations "The holder has a (name of country) passport.." with details on passport number, date of issue, expire date and name on passport.
Only the details of the passport from the "developing" country is mentioned. Nothing about the more prestigious one.
Any ideas why this is the case? Why is one passport worthy of this particular observation and the other not?
Do they also put this observation for e.g. EU citizens that naturalise?
Thanks!
