Wife Tier 2 dependant renewal

Hi All

My status: At present I have an ILR which i got on Jan 2019. Before that I was a Tier 2 (General) for 5 years. My wife joined me 4 years ago and is now a Tier 2 Dependent looking to renew her Tier 2 Dependant status till she become eligible for ILR on her own.

I am trying to renew the visa for my wife and I am trying to fill the online form.
I have 2 problems:

1. On the main form
it asks "Which visa or permission to stay has Mr xxx" applied for or been granted?
I answered "Tier 2 (General) leave to remain".

2.On the IHS charge site
I am not sure what to say about my "visa route" and "visa type"
If I fill my expiry date on my ILR BRP (Dec-2024) in it will ask me to pay IHS charge for 5 years!

Any advice would be appreciated

Put ilr expiry date as day month 2022, ie 3 years from now, to get the correct fee for 3 years.

the thing is I am on ILR now - but Tier 2 general is how i got there.

Can you please confirm what you selected for below questions?

1. Length of CoS?
2. Is job in Shortage occupation code?

Also did your wife get the approval?
