Hi

My husband has received termination letter from his employer on 21st Nov 2019.
Could you let me know within how many days he needs to find another job so that our ILR period is not impacted.
Also let me know in case he is not able to get another job how long can we stay in this country .

Please advise urgently we are very upset and don't know the next steps.

There is NO 'employment gap' restriction or rule anymore.

Depends how long HO take to send a curtailment letter, which will give him 60 days from date of letter. Curtailment letters can take a few weeks/couple of months.

Thanks this gives us some peace of mind.

In that case he look out for another job until the date mentioned in the curtailment letter when we receive.
is my understanding correct.

Correct. He must apply for a visa before EITHER his current visa expires OR the curtailment date when he gets the letter.

Hi

While applying for Visa under Tier 2 general with a new employer in UK :

1)Will it come under extension or Switch, where we need to apply in the portal
2)Apart from COS what other docs have to be submitted.
Do we need to submit Payslips from the previous employment or Bank Statements

Please advise.
