Spouse Visa - Bankruptcy

Post by 3crown » Tue Jul 29, 2008 4:14 pm

Hi - hubby's spouse visa until 2010 - 'no recourse to public funds' - I've just been made redundant - what about myself - can I sign on, claim jobseeker's allowance...etc. etc?

You must provide more information about nationality of parties involved and work status

You can claim benifits etc etc it will potentially have an impact if things get so bad you as a couple can not survive on his earnings + savings + personal benefits.

Only once he has to claim public funds does he fail to meet the criteria.
