Hi, my boy is born in the UK and he is 9 months old. He had Indian passport. His mother holds tier 2 General main and I'm dependent. We don't have plans to go out of UK before we get ILR, so can we apply for his UK citizenship once we get ILR without having a UK visa? Do they check for his visa when issuing UK passport? Thanks in advance.

Hmm... If it was in this year or early 2020 then makes sense, but 2021 I'm not sure. I read on the forum that child may have issues with NHS without a valid visa beyond certain timeframe.

Probably better to apply for tier 2 dependent visa, but see what other experienced members advice.
