Hi,

I have seen several threads in regards to spouse visa extension, but I have a question.

My wife has 33 months as she applied from outside the UK. 33 months are up on 7th April 2020. I seen it stated you can apply after 2.5 years (30 months), which is going to be in January 2020. Do I have uptill April 2020 to apply? I was thinking of applying in March 2020 as I was planning on taking for a holiday in January.

He residency permit is valid till 7th April 2020.

You can apply anytime after 30 months to the last day of visa expiry.

Also is UK marriage registration required for the renewal? I think not as have a marriage certificate from Pakistan translated to English

There is NO requirement to register a legal foreign marriage in the UK!!
