Can I apply for ILR

Post by Cupcake08 » Sun Jan 12, 2020 8:05 pm

Hi all,

As I’m yet again entering into this ever confusing world of renewing my limited leave visa, I have a quick question regarding if I’m able to apply for ILR......

So I applied in 2015 I was granted my limited leave visa on a 10 year route, I then re applied and switched 21/2 years later onto a 5 year partner/spouse route as I earned enough to switch.

I’m due to renew again in July but just wondered if I can actually apply for ILR as I have completed full 5 years but over different routes or do I have to do another 2 and a half years on this 5 year route and then apply for my ILR?

So it’s soooooo confusing.

Thanks

No you are not eligible for ilr. You need 5 years in the 5 year rule visa.
