Tier 2 General Visa Extension

My first visa extension is due in 2 months. I have registered to fill and submit the visa extension application form online.

On my resident permit card, type of permit is TIER 2 (GENERAL) LEAVE TO ENTER, which was granted for 3 years in 2017.

Now when I am trying to fill the online extension form, there is only one option to show my existing visa type which is TIER 2 (GENERAL) LEAVE TO REMAIN, and I am confused to choose this option.

Please advise if there is any difference in the above two and if yes then what should I do as there is no other option on the form for me to choose.

Hi,
From my understanding, the difference between:

Leave to enter: when you apply outside the UK (hence you enter after visa granted)
Leave to remain: when you apply inside the UK.

I don't know what to do if you have no other option.

Selecting the option makes no difference
