You need to attend your ceremony within 90 days from approval letter.field_test12 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:24 pmHi Guys,
I just a query regarding naturalization, We are traveling this year so just have a query about timing
After approval of naturalization, How long we can delay for ceremony,
Can we delay for 2 months?
if not, after ceremony can we delay 2 months for passport?
The 3 years presence requirment is for people married to a British citizen. For everyone else it is 5 years, no 3 year requirment if not married to a British citizen.field_test12 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:38 pmCan you please also help on this, I am seeing people are looking for the day to be here in 3 years before,
As far i know we should look for the day to be here 5 years before.
Can someone please confirm?
They are not out side 90 days in 12 months and making sure that the date we are submitting application ( from that date to 3 years date should be in UK)
2020 minus 3 years is 2017 not 2018.field_test12 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 1:54 pmThanks a lot for your replies, Just one more question to start the process
I am British citizen
MY wife came to UK in May 2015 (Visa stamped in Feb 2015)
Just last week she got ILR,
If i go by 3 years back, In Feb 2018 she was here.
So, Can she apply the naturalization this week,
Is there anything she need to finish full 5 years in UK for naturalization?
