Help for pre settled status

Dear obie, I read slot about your experience, I am very happy as this platform is very helpful.
I have a question about criminal conviction.
2018 December I got common assault conviction and end up with probation officer. I really regret about my silly mistake ad suffering a lot with that. I’m non Eu spouse of Eu citizen and my wife and kid already have pre settled status, I applied since two month but still waiting for answer. My question is what could be outcome if someone is got any conviction in Uk under the law. I don’t have any other conviction plus I never been to imprisonment.
