Cronavirus Temporary Amnesty for Illegals

Post by London22 » Thu Mar 19, 2020 6:12 pm

There is a good news for illegals that a cronavirus Temporary Amnesty has been declared by NHS .So those who have no right of treatment from NHS but feel they have caught Covid 19 are now free to go to any hospital near for treatment. There is no need of more hiding.

Still they would be asked to provide their details and whereabouts means can easily become traceable if absconds again in future.

This is not new really.

It has always been OK for illegals to go to the NHS if they believed they have an infectious disease that presents a risk to the community.

There is a list of diseases which pose a risk to the population at large and therefore for which no charges are made and therefore even people illegally in the UK can access the NHS if they are suffering from them.

The list was compiled in 2015 and includes, among others,
Pandemic influenza (defined as the “Pandemic Phase”) or influenza that might become pandemic (defined as the “Alert Phase”) as defined by WHO in the World Health Organisation’s (“WHO”) Pandemic Influenza Risk Management Interim Guidance
