Unable to book LifeIntheUK test during COVID-19

Post by ldbright » Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:09 pm

Hi guys,

I lost my life in the UK certificate thus want to retake the exam. But when in the lifeinthe UK online booking system, I can select the date and center but when press "confirm and pay", it always take me to a page with a message like this
"We are still awaiting confirmation of your payment. You will receive an email when this has been processed."

Therefore I can not actually pay and book a spot.

Has anyone had the same experience?

Thank you very much!

If you had applied for ILR with the LifeintheUK results, keep in mind that they retain the results and don't return them with the rest of your documents. So you may not have lost it, it may just be retained by the Home Office.

You may not require doing a second LITUK test.

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, I applied for ILR in 2014 and can't remember it was returned to me as I have other documents. However, why I can not see similar posts here - did everyone remember their Life in the UK reference number? I didn't keep a record.

If HO has a record from my ILR application and I don't remember the reference number? Can they find it when review my application?

Your answer is appreciated and thank you very much!
