Serve on a jury

Have a question regarding to this:
When a person(irish citizen) not presented in the state( does not live in ireland) how can she/he get a call or a letter about serve on a jury? When he/she does not have an address in ireland but government knows his/her old address, what happens in this situation?

Only those who are on the vote register may be called for jury service. You cannot be on the vote register if you are residing abroad.
