9 month old baby not mentioned in old hsmp application

Hi,

I have a little problem.I applied for HSMP in April 2006 at that time,my son was 9 months old (born in UK) ,before that I was on workpermit for about a year. I did not mention him (my son) in that (HSMP) application.Now when I am extending my HSMP , I am also applying for his dependent visa too.

What should I do? Will they refuse it on the basis ,that I did not mention my son in the first HSMP application.What sort of covering letter and supporting documents should i send?

Please help I am very confuse
