IHS surcharge for NHS workers

Post by yash_d » Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:38 am

There was news about IHS surcharge being abolished for NHS workers. Has this been implemented or any further guidance available as to when and who can avail this?
Thanks you

Hi,

Govt has only announced the NHS Staff exempt From The Immigration Health Surcharge. There is no official documents published or available so far. This will take time.

I think you need to wait for the official documents. If you already applied visa and paid for IHS charge you may able to apply for a refund.

Thanks
