Salary less than COS / guidance

Hello,

My wife ( Dentist ) have been sponsored with Tier 2 General and have got the BRP . She was supposed to start work from April 2020 but due to COVID her start date is postponed to start from August 2020, again only 2 days per week, due to COVID.

With this, she will not be able to earn salary as mentioned in COS . Will this affect the employment and will there be any issues due to late start ? Any update need to be given to home office ?

How do we need to manage this with the sponsor and during year end tax filing ? Any guidance around this will be helpful.

Hi,

Iam on Tier 2 G visa planned to start work from April 2020. Due to COVID, iam starting from August 2020. My employer has reduced the work hours and with this i will not be able to earn salary mentioned in COS

1. As i have not paid tax for last 3 years i cannot claim COVID Income support scheme,
2. As iam joining after Feb 2020, my employer cannot claim for Furloughed funds - pls clarify.
3. As my income will be less than COS stated figures, should this impact my visa ?

Pls provide guidance around this.
