Tier2 ICT application from within the UK

Hi,

I am on Tier 2 ICT dependent, and my company is planning to sponsor me to switch to Tier 2 ICT Main (all criteria fulfilled including 12 months working history in home country etc. etc.).
My question is - I am in UK right now, and travelling to home country during Covid situation is not favourable. Is there any interim rule that application can be done from within the UK please?

If you decide to stay in the UK, you should apply for the necessary leave to remain in the UK. You’ll also be able to submit an application form from within the UK where you would usually need to apply for a visa from your home country.
