asylum case waiting for 1 year and 6 months

Post by samual2213 » Sat Aug 08, 2020 11:02 pm

Hi all
I do not have a lawyer for my asylum case and I think Home office ignoring me
I have been waiting for more than 1 year 6 months.
should I get a lawyer for my case?
I would like to chase up my case and ask for update.
I have submissions and now waiting for the final interview.
now I would like to provide new evidences to make it stronger to my asylum claim, is it possible?

as I know you can only have further submission if your case has made decision.

Thank you.! :P

Can you provide details of your immigration history and till the point of your initial asylum claim so that the moderators and gurus can know how to tailor the information and guidance to be provided to you.

Hi I applied asylum on Jan 2019.
and I have screen interviewed and fill out questionnaires in earlier this year.
I am now waiting for the final interview.
anyone has a specific time fame for interview?

does anyone know if all asylum seeker are being treated as over-stayed, if my case was failed, I leave UK voluntarily. but does that meaning later if I would like to come to UK, I will have a re-entry ban?

asylum seeker doesn't have a right to rent, so where are they stay?

What is the basis of your asylum claim?

How did you enter the UK?

Your flag suggests you are Nigerian, why can't you return to your home country?

It's not only about the formal "ban" but about immigration history.

Once you have an adverse immigration history in the UK, you won't qualify for visitor visa. You may still qualify for other visas such as "spouse visa" but not visitor.
