Priority service & Super priority service

Post by Tier 4 » Thu Aug 13, 2020 12:04 pm

A silly question: Anyone has any idea, when will the ‘priority service’ and ‘super priority service’ will start for in-country visa applications like FLR (FP)?

Most often the application for flrfp is dealt through standard service.

It's actually 3rd extension , previously 2nd extension done through same day service in Glasgow, conveniently in less than 2 hours, back in 2018.

However crona wasn't there back than. 😅

Hi ,

I am not familiar with this online visa extension system. Therefore can I ask how long do we usually get once we start our online application. Someone said 28 days once we start it. It's like fill the form , upload documents and save them every single time.

My Mrs FLR fp third extension is due on 24 October 2020. So if I start the application on 1 September I 'll have 28 days to submit it?

Thanks

An active online application remains 'live' for about 10 weeks before it auto deletes if not submitted.

Stop listening to 'someone'. The 28 days is something completely different.

You complete, submit and pay the form. You then have until the date of your biometric appointment to upload your documents. There are currently delays with biometrics.

Many thanks for your reply, really appreciate it.

So can I ask, what will be the submissions date?

The date we complete the form , pay fee and submit it?
Or
Until we upload documents completely?
Or
The date of biometric submission / appointment ?

Sorry never done it before so confuse with the process.

Many thanks

Hi everyone,

Just need to ask I missed some info during my Mrs FLR FP online 3rd extension application. Now it's not allowing me to add up any thing , and keep taking me to the fee section.

I have not paid any fee or submit the application completely yet, so can I make another ID and start another application from the beginning?

Thanks
Regards

Yes. Doing so will be more sensible.

i am filling my spouse FLR FP Visa extension but its just keep dragging me to
Visa route: Marriage - FLR(M)

Even during paying IHS fee. what do i do? Should I just keep it this way and they will decide on their own that I have applied FLR FP not FLR M?

Thanks

This exact thing happened to me, I submitted a few days ago. I think what happens is the online application recognises whether you have ticked to fulfil the education and financial requirements. I know of a few people who submitted extension Flr(FP) but HO issued them with FLR(M).

Well the issue is I don't meet income threshold, so worried they will definitely refuse FLR M.
But how they will issue FLR FP Extension I don't know. Just need an attentive case worker on other end.

Don't worry, if you meet the other requirements, you will get FLR (FP) instead.

Perhaps it is the remnant of other known glitches which starts slamming the system. As a shield, just attach a covering letter.

Oh how I wish the process was simplified

It's categorised as family route no matter if you're on FLR FP or FLR M. Your home office case reference and indeed your BRP will be noted with what type of Visa you have been granted so it should be simple for the case worker. Agree that a cover letter is imperative EVEN for the most simplistic cases. I plastered my cover letter with an explanation a few times over to make things clear.

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Hi guys,

I have booked an appointment for my Mrs FLR FP 3rd extension with ukvcas for biometric etc on the 7 October. Just need to ask couple of questions regarding uploading documents.

1. I have merged around 24 bank statements into one PDF file with a size less than 6 MB. is it ok or do I have to upload them separately?

2. Do I have to take all my original documents? I understand I have to take my original passport and biometric Residence card but what about bank statements. As most of my statements are paperless, so I can upload them without scanning. Do I have to printout them as well?

I be much appreciated if someone answer.
Thanks

1. Fine even better

2. Academically, all original documents should be taken to centre but realistically these are rarely being asked. Maybe taking them in usb works as they might be able to upload from it on finding anything missing. But definitely take your original passport & BRP.

Sorry, I mean what is UKVI standard processing time (I know its vary case to case) but what's the general rule.

I came across this link says 8 weeks in complicated can take 12 weeks to 6 months.

https://www.gov.uk/government/organisa ... 6 months.

What you came across is correct information as per HO while the link provided you by seagul is for you to view peoples timeline and their actual experiences.
