IT job title for referee?

Post by raminxp » Tue Aug 18, 2020 4:44 pm

Hi,

I'm about to make a naturalisation application (one year after ILR). I was wondering if for one of my referees, I could list my friend who works in IT for Sainsbury's? If so, not sure which sector I will have to select in the application form.. I appreciate any help.

R.

Not as your professional referee no. The list is clear who can be your professional referee, of any nationality.

Hi Casa - I don't think I know a person with those professions.. Is there no other way for me?

He used to be a contractor and had registered a limited company. His company is still Active even though he is now in a permanent job. I assume I can still put his name down under "director of limited company" ? I really hope this is okay

If he is still a CURRENT director of a limited company, then yes you can use him.

Apologies, should have read your signature better.

Thanks yes he is still the 'Active' director of his limited company. Panic over
