Tier 2 Dependant or FLR

Hi,
I have completed 10 years on 16th June, and 5 years through Tier 2 Gen on 1st Sep. Given the current situation with job, I had applied for Set (LR). I am yet to get the result.
Meanwhile, my job situation is better now and therefore wanted to check if my wife can apply for ILR as a Tier 2 dependant (as I am still with the same job) or does she have to go through FLR after i get my Set(LR) approved? Any advice is much appreciated.

No she cannot get ILR based on tier 2 dependent if you have applied for ILR based on long residence. The rules don't permit this.

Yes. This resets her 5 years ILR clock and she will need 2 x 2.5 year visas.
