Can you basically not travel after doing ceremony but before receiving a British passport?

After doing the citizenship ceremony and before receiving a British passport, are you basically stuck in limbo not being able to travel anywhere??

Since the ILR becomes invalid and you obviously can not travel using the citizenship certificate

(please admins don't merge this with my other post)
