postal order payments

Post by touk » Thu Sep 04, 2008 9:55 pm

Please forgive me if this is a repeated query, my search did not yield any results, hence posting this...

Payment of extension through postal order
The maximum value of postal order we can get is 250 pounds, so
when paying through postal order, do I have to attach 3 postal orders with each of value 250 pounds? Please clarify!!! Is it acceptable by Home Office?

As my debit card is Visa and I dont have any credit cards, I am opting for the postal order payment.

Thanks in advance,
touk

I did the same...send in 3 postal orders for my extension. What i did, was that instead of lining them up together, i spaced them out so it was easy to see that there are 3 £250 postal orders attached.

For my first application, i sent in multiple as well.

I don't think they care how we pay, as long as it adds up to £750. HOpe that helps!

Another option could be cheque payment, which would save few quids from your pocket (appx £27 - postal order charges)...

I did pay via cheque and as per my understnading this is the best option..
