Tier 2 Dependent visa after Tier 4 Rejection

Post by Raviteja440 » Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:54 pm

Hi All,
This is a query from one of my friend. His wife applied for Tier 4 visa 6 months back which faced rejection
due to refusal based on deception (not a genuiene employment). They didn't appeal back then as they felt it was of no use.
Currently, my friend got Tier 2 sponsorship and planning to apply dependent visa for his wife.
Would the past Tier 4 rejection will have any impact on the current dependent application of his wife?

What was the deception?

The letter would state the immigration rule applies for resusal and if there is a ban, which is usually 10 years for deception.

Indeed it will. As CR001 said, check the refusal letter.

When you get a refusal because a document was missing or incomplete, that's fine. It doesn't impact seriously future applications. But when they refuse and quote deception, it's serious. It means that your future applications will be compromised for at least 10 years.

Check again the refusal letter. It should say something around these lines.
