CoS is written 5 years, but BRP stated vlid until 31-12-2024

My CoS is written for 5 years until 01-09-2025.
I applied for 5 years Tier 2 visa.

However, I got the BRP is written:
Valid Until: 31-12-2024.

Is that a mistake? or because the system does not run until 2025?

Hi I am also got the same , I have applied for 5 years and also on the email they have mentioned visa granted until 30 Aug 2025 but on BRP Card it’s valid until : 31 dec 2024

May be we have to submit administrative review for that , but I didn’t do any thing yet , please keep post here if you find any solution

If you bothered to search the forum, before posting yet another topic, you would see that 31 December 2024 is the date that all biomteric documents (passports and BRP cards) have to be updated with more enhanced security features. It is the CARD that expires and will be updated!!

If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but you have leave to stay longer.

UKVI will update their information on how to update your BRP in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.
