FLR to ILR Partner

Dear Gurus, Moderators and experts,

This is regarding my wife.
she is in the UK for 3.5 years on Tier 2 General Dependent,
I now have got ILR and have applied to register my one year old daughter (Born in the UK) as British Citizen.

1. please correct if I am wrong, my wife can not apply for ILR as she is in the UK for 3.5 years on T2G Dependent and not 5 Years?

2. if she can not then is it FLR she needs to apply? If so, can she apply as a dependent on the child after the British Registration application or she have to apply as my dependent?

She may continue to extend as a PBS dependant until she qualifies for ILR.

the links are helpful. However, I will be very grateful if you can give a bit more clarification.

I got ILR from T2G 5 Years.

My wife is still on T2G Dependent and her visa is valid till 28/04/2021 (that will be 4 years from her initial leave).

Question:

Since I have got ILR now, can she carry on with her existing visa (T2G Dependent) until it expires or she have to switch now to a different category (if different, then which one please).

You've already been advised.

She should continue on her existing visa and should apply for an extension before her visa expires.

She can apply for ILR when she meets the requirements.

Thank you so much for your reply, and apologise if I am repeating myself on any question or may asking something obvious, it is only because I want to be 100% sure. I always appreciate all the comments from everyone on this forum.

The extension will be T2G Dependent before her current visa expires? Even though now I have ILR (from T2G)
