CSEP – what to do if my job falls somewhere between 2 categories on the Critical Skills Occupations List?

Post by MarbleMarch » Fri Oct 23, 2020 4:45 am

Greetings from Canada. I'm interested in moving to Dublin on a Critical Skills Employment Permit.

I looked at the Critical Skills Occupations List and my job falls somewhere between the two categories below (242 and 354).

Will it be hard to get approval for the visa if my job doesn't fit 100% in a specific category?

Do I need to hire a lawyer to help with the application process to show how closely my job duties match the ones described in the list?

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
