FLR (M) Income Issue

Post by rizwo » Fri Oct 23, 2020 2:07 pm

Sponsor Applied ILR (Long Residency) on 15/10/2020. Currently On Tier 1 (Ent) Extension.
Dependents Visa Expire on 13/12/2020

Income Issue:

Spouse was taking dividends from a Limited company (Sole Director).
Dividends were declared during the year (01/02/2019 To 31/01/2020) of £18000 which he was taking money every month from November 2019 till to date (£2K PM Including this year dividends). £18K has been declared in the CH & HMRC and appropriate tax returns have been submitted including Director Tax return (2019/2020).

Dependent also work as a Primary teacher and earned £11000 in the 2019/2020 Tax year (P60 Figure).

Questions:
1-Can you claim that in last tax year 19/20 total income was £29K?
2- Some dividend Payments (£10K in 19/20 and £8K in 20/21) were taken in next year although earned in 19/20 and declared in 19/20 in Company & personal Tax returns. Will it be an issue in claiming £29K?

Kind Regards
