Tier 2 General Dependent --> Tier 2 General, Skilled workers route

I'm on T2 General dependent visa, Can I switch to T2 General (Skilled workers route) from within UK if I get an offer with sponsorship after Jan 2021? or do I need to travel back and apply from Home country?

PS: I originally shifted form tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General early this year.

Yes - you are allowed to change employment. But make sure first you apply for the visa and get it approved with the new company before you can resign from the current one

Thought you switched Tier 2 Migrant. Current visa conditions allows to Switch. But not clear from below though, You would need to seek further advise!

But in-country application is allowed as per below, not too clear for Dependents.
