Maitainance fund document

Post by xiaowei » Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:55 am

I am applying for Tier 1 inside the UK. For maintainance fund document, can I ask the bank to make a print out bank statement and signed and stamped by the bank?
Thanks

you can ask the bank to stamp and sign them or you will need to provide a supporting letter from their bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided.

or else Letter from bank confirming funds and that they
have been in the bank for at least three months: The
letter from a bank or building society should show:
• the applicant’s name;
• the account number;
• the date of the letter;
• the fi nancial institution’s name and logo;
• the funds held in the applicant’s account; and
• that the funds of £800 have been in the
bank for at least three months and the balance has
always been at least £800, as appropriate.

Thanks for the reply.
The bank has given me 3 printouts. One is a printed out bankstatement with transactions, my account number on it and also the bank's logo and name. One is pritned with my name and account number and my address on it. the last one also contains my name and account number. All of them have been stamped and signed by the bank. But they are not on an official headed paper.
Would these 3 paper be OK?
Thanks
