Five year or 3 years immigration history for citizenship application

Post by jkcool » Sat Nov 21, 2020 7:20 pm

My wife is applying for her citizenship application.

She was on Tier 2 dependent visa from March 2013 to March 2018. Got ILR in March 2018.

Me (her husband) got Citizenship in June 2019. If she is applying now, will she be considered as Spouse of British Citizen or is she be considered on her own ?

Should she provide 5 years of trips outside UK or just 3 years (as for spouse of British citizen) ?

Also, she gave her English test certificate during ILR. There was a question about it in the application form. In spite of giving 'Yes', in the required supporting docs, she is being asked to provide the English Test certificate ? Does the certificate has any expiry date ?

3 years.

If the same english test was used for ILR, she can use the same for AN.
