Health and Care worker Visa...please help

Hello everyone.

I am currently on a 2.5yr visa (leave to remain 10yr route as a parent of a british child). I am now working for the NHs as a Health and wellbeing coach and after looking at the codes i fall under code 2219. I am sure not if its a good idea to switch visa's but my employer has received feedback from the NHS team at the home office saying i could apply. I am not sure if this is a wise move but am hoping someone could advise me. One of the reason i want to switch is because of the NHS surcharge which i dont have and the ability to apply for ILR after 5years.
