FLR M application

Hello good people, please advice me on the following matter.

I have applied for ILR (SET LR) and waiting for the decision.
My wife's visa is going to run out in January 2021.
Can I make a FLR M application for her now while my ILR application is still under consideration? And how?

I have applied FLR(M) for my spouse while I await my Set LR decision.
