Irish Article 10 EU family member residence card

My spouse currently holds the Irish EUFAM4 (article 10 residence card) which up until 31st Dec permitted entry to the UK for holidays etc. Does anyone know which Visa will be required from Jan 1st onwards to travel there for holidays (i.e Northern Ireland/rest of UK) - is it simply just a UK holiday visa that should be applied for or smth diff as he is a spouse of an EU person?
