Wait time on work permits- answer 9/22/08

I know that many people on this and other boards have posts asking for current wait times on work permits. So, since I have found so much by searching the boards, I thought I should share.

My permit application was sent 9/10 and I got a confirmation that one was issued today 9/22.

Hope this helps anyone out there.

Thanks for sharing your experience about WP process time..

But dont you think it can vary and depends on each case?? like mine took 5working days n i found some friends waiting for 3weeks as well..

point i am driving home is that, pls dont get discouraged, if it takes more time than you friend or somebody on this board..
