Police simple caution - advice please

My partner is due to apply for his 5yr route visa.

We had an argument in December which escalated. He admitted to pushing me and has been given a simple caution from the police.

Can anyone advise on this please? We have decided to try again with our marriage and have two small children. We are both very stressed and worried about the implications of this.

Please help!

What is your partner applying for?

What date the police caution was received?
