Post by Awais785 » Tue Feb 09, 2021 8:38 am

Hi all hope you guys fine.Asking for a friend
He is a british national living in pakistan for a year.
He is working from home in a uk company
His wages come into uk acccount
My questions are
1..can he apply spouse visa?
If yes
Do need to mention his stay in cover letter or the company should mention it?
2.Do he need to show accomodation in uk?
Thanks in advance

Hello

With all due respect, the Home Office (or any other State administration) is not McDonalds. That's to say, you can't have it your way. The sooner you integrate this, the better for your current and future applications.

Don't go to administrations telling them your life as if you are reading a biography and see what in it for you.

They work like this:

[ ] Box 1
[ ] Box 2
[ ] Box 3

Does your case fit in a box?

[ yes ] ---> Then proceed with the application
[ no ] ---> Refuse, reject, delay... the application

You know what are the requirements for spouse visa. They are not negotiable and don't take in account your job flexibility and you working from Pakistan.

Don't write letters or notes to the Home Office "mentioning" random things from your life. Send them documents demonstrating eligibility to the application your are lodging.

Accommodation in the UK is a requirements. They are not going to waive because you mention you work from Pakistan.

Also, if he is able to work from Pakistan, then why would the spouse need a spouse visa, as the ties as they appear now, seem stronger in Pakistan than the UK.
