Info request for Certificate of Entitlement (COE) application from India

Dear All,

Please can someone share their recent experience applying for COE from India to prove the right of abode, in particular I am interested in the processing time.

For the background, I am British Citizen, and my child was born in India. I have got the Indian passport for the child and planning to apply COE to bring them back to UK which I think is faster route compared to applying for the first Child British passport overseas.
