If he is switching for the first time, he would need A1 but many people do higher test if they competent enough to do B1 which they use for future applications. There's no priority options at the moment for family visas applications within UK and he can apply anytime before his leave is due to expire. There's no financial requirement but adequate maintenance must be met.NG1983 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 2:04 pm1983 »Thu Feb 11, 2021 1:34 pm
Someone related to me is on FLP private life based on parent of a British person(me).now he is thinking of switching to 5 years route, we don't know the best route to go for, and I understand he needs an English examination, which English exam doe she need A2 or B1.His visa is expiring in May this year when its the earliest he can apply for his visa. Can he apply as priority,he has the financial requirement as well as the accommodation requirement.
Thanks

Read the Appendix FM posted above by Vinny and it will answer your question.
Do not shout. Typing in all capital letters is considered shouting in online conversations.
What complications please??he initially applied on the basis of a parent and has an FLP visa based on private life,so we are considering switching over to unmarried partners 5 years route and I understand he needs to fulfil some financial and accommodation criteria.vinny wrote: ↑Thu Feb 18, 2021 5:09 amHowever, there are complications, if there’s a partner or two parents.
He has FLM based on parents and will liken to switch to 5 year route
