From which day shall I count my 5 years of continuous residence?

Just want a clear information from which day shall I count my 5 years of continuous residence, Is it day of first landing or day my permission to land was granted? - (regarding ILR application). Please Help me understand.

Initial visa issue date for tier 2.
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Hello,

It seems I lost my BRP card and only after 3 weeks I was planning to apply for ILR ,
can anyone help me understand what is the best way to proceed further?
where to report and do I need to apply for a replacement first and then apply for ILR or not?
