Application Status - how to know correctly - in India

Hi,
I have applied from VFS, Hyderabad.
I would like to know how to know the Application Status correctly.

or
the customer care 080-40084008

they don't give specific information, all the time they say that "Application has been forwarded to BHC".

Any idea on how to get the specific status in India.

send a mail to your local BHC office.
I send one to Bombay.VisaEnquiries@fco.gov.uk since I applied from Pune and they did reply back with the exact status.
Please find out whats the email id for Hyderabad...maybe its Chennai.visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk ..plz chk
