Discretionary leave

Post by ashak » Fri Feb 19, 2021 8:35 pm

Hi Gurus,

I got my ILR in Jan 2020 after a long struggle after home office withdrawn their case against me and granted me ILR on 10 year long residence basis. My wife was give 2 year discretionary leave to remain. I have following questions to ask:

Q1- My wife got discretionary leave which application should she go for extension in 2022 ?

Q2- My wife came in UK in 2014 can she apply for ILR in 2014 ?

Regards
Ashak

1) Probably using FLR(DL) but the family route FLR(M) or FLR(FP) also is possible
2) Yes in 2024 assuming she qualifies and long residence is still possible by that time
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice
