Vary Tier 2 general dependent extension to ILR application

I am going through same process. Can you please mention steps how to vary application? Do I need to create new application? Waiting for your reply.

You apply for ILR as normal and pay the ILR application fees. You simply add a letter that you want to vary the previous application.

Have you submitted biometrics for extension application? Make sure you have submitted biometrics to make the application valid before you vary it to ILR.
Also, once you start the ILR application online, the form will ask if you have any pending applications with HO, make sure you mention the extension application there.

Thanks alot for clarification. My dependent visa is going to expire on 13th April and they will be eligible for ILR on 23June 2021. Their first visa was granted on 24july 2016. So alltogether they have to cover 2months and 10 days for eligibility of ILR. I will submit application on 11th April and will book biometric appointment around 10 June then will vary application on 12 june. If you have any suggestion let me know. Your understanding is correct. But note your deadline is 45 working days to submit biometrics. You will have to calculate accordingly.
