IT Testing Job market

Hi All,

I would like to hera abt IT Testing Job market here in UK.
I have been trying for a month for contract mainly but could not get any.
Is there any one who got testing contacts recently or any one actively looking for testing contract, please share your experience.

I aminterested to hear abt test tools job market, ares & rates.

Even i have similar exp as u have even i am trying hard for last 1 month but not getting any.But it depends on luck as well a friend of mine got 1 contact in just 1 month.
Heard the market would be better my next month!

Market is not so bad, and a good luck always comes handy. Try jobserve and other jobsites, google.
What's your expertise ?

Thanks Ajay & Rohit..

I do have extensive experience in Mercury tools(TestDirector, Win/LoadRunner & QTP) & experence in Mobile & ISP testing.

Even if jobspec matches well not able to get even interview calls.
I am wooried now as "Out of Job" Gap is increasing .
I become More & more flexible on rate ,location ...But still
not even getting interview calls.

My worry is that these guys will take non-Brits only after all
finishing all Brit choices..? I could lots of opening in Jobserve,
Jobsite ,Total jobs & reed, But no response..

I completely agree with u .. but i strongly feel that there r lots of duplicate jobs on jobserve...more over many jobs also have got offshored..
