SET (M) ILR application date

Dear all,

I moved from Tier 2 to FLR (M) in 2016.

The leave to remain was granted (as in my BRP) on: 16/03/2016 (I was in UK on the day)
I renewed it on: 17/09/2018
The current visa is valid up to: 13/04/2021

I got confused about the date when I could apply for ILR. 5 years would be counted from 16/03/2016. I assumed I had to apply within 28 days of 13/04/2021

I submitted my online application on: 15/03/2021
Biometrics appointment due on: 11/04/2021

Am I safe or have done anything wrong with the dates?

You could have applied within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial FLR M issue date

The latest you can apply is the date your visa expires.

Thank you so much for your response! I was considering calling an immigration advisor. I used them previously but this time sorted out everything myself. Now in the process of uploading documents. Looking at the SET M timelines on the other boards, I anticipate it would be 6 months!
