No biometrics yet

Hi guys,

I hope this finds you in good health.

I live in England and I applied by post in March, my application was received 25th March precisely and my debit card was deducted the HO fees on the 9th of April, now I know everyone would want to ask why didn’t you just submit ONLINE ? Please dont :D

I guess my question is, is it normal to wait this long to get a biometrics email/ letter from the home office, and were they supposed to have sent it with the acknowledgment email I received way back on the 13th of April?

Thanks for your anticipated replies

David

Thinking back to my own paper application a few years back at the time they sent the acknowledgement by post together with the biometrics invitation (at a Post Office). These days biometrics are done at UKVCAS only I believe so you should get some kind of communication from them. Applications made on paper are quite rare now and most recent applicants won't have experience of that path. I also note on the UKVI web site that postal application may take longer than online. If there are ay contact details on the acknowledgement email try and contact them.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.
