Documentation requirements for dependent visa

Hi,

I am currently preparing to make a Tier 1 (General) Migrant dependent visa for my wife. Can anyone guide me as to what documentation is required for the dependent visa? More specifically, do I need to submit my original passport with EC visa stamped?? or can I just submit a xerox copy of the visa and passport. Reason is that I might need to travel shortterm soon and I cannot holdup my passport for depentent visa processing.

Submit ur copy of ur passport itself.They dont need ur original one.
